THIS MONTH'S BUGNET chart looks at the bug/fix success rates of the two big web browsers, Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer. BugNet data on commercial releases of the products (not beta) indicates that Netscape is doing a better job fixing bugs in their browser by a small but significant degree. In this first ever straight up comparison, Netscape Navigator scored a solid and respectible 67% success rate, while Microsoft Internet Explorer came in 5% lower with a 62% bug/fix success rate.
