1. System requirements
· Windows 95 or Windows NT 3.51 or higher
· 486-DX2/DX4 or Pentium-compatible systems
· 8 MB RAM (16 MB recommended)
· 4 MB available hard drive space for program files
· Windows-compatible pointing device
· True Color or HiColor display adapter and monitor
(recommended)
2. What is Ulead GIF Animator 1.5?
Ulead GIF Animator is a very easy to use GIF animation file
design, production and optimization tool. Running under Windows
95 and NT, Ulead GIF Animator lets you create compact animation
with drag-and-drop simplicity. Key features include:

· Optimization Wizard support for quick GIF optimization
· Startup Wizard for convenient accessing to various application
options
· Support for AVI video files to import and convert AVI files
directly to GIF animation files

· Wide image file format support (BMP, EPS, IFF, IMG, GIF, JPEG,
MAC, MSP, PCD, PCX, PICT, PNG, PSD, TGA and TIFF)

For more information about Ulead GIF Animator and how to use it,
please refer to the online help. It can be viewed by clicking the
help button that appears in most of the program's dialog boxes,
clicking the help (*.hlp) file from Windows Explorer, or clicking
its shortcut in the Windows Start menu where you installed the
program.
3. Trial period information
Ulead GIF Animator Trial version is distributed free-of-charge to
all users. This software offers a FREE trial use for a period of
15 days from the date of installation. It is recommended that you
tryout this program before the trial period expires because we
will not be able to extend this FREE trial period once the Trial
program has expired.
4. Purchasing the retail version of Ulead GIF Animator
You may purchase a retail Full version of Ulead GIF Animator
which is very similar to (or better than) the Trial version. The
retail version is not time restricted and will never expire.

5. Technical support
Technical support for the purchased retail Full version is
available via our web site (www.ulead.com), email (
support@ulead.com.tw), fax, or through our support centers around
the world. Be sure to have your Ulead GIF Animator Technical
Support ID (displayed in the program's About box) ready or
include it in your email or fax.
For Trial version users, if you have any questions, we encourage
you to read the Ulead GIF Animator pages on our web site. We
offer no technical support at this moment for the Trial version
of Ulead GIF Animator. If you discover a bug in the program,
please send your report to webutility@ulead.com.tw. Necessary
changes will be made and the FAQ page will be updated. We suggest
you check our web site often.
