Rides With Coyotes -- coyote tracks amid mountain bike tracks on the road near the last lookout before you get to the Towers on Galbraith.

Rode Galbraith after getting my hair cut and shaving my beard into a goatee.

Climbed the Ridge Trail and Family Fun Center, then accelerated my pace by climbing the north track instead of the Intestine, traversing across the top of the Intestine woods, and then climbing the hardest track all the way up to the fork on the backside of Arsenio. From there, I followed the main trail to the Arsenio / Arsenio Spur junction, and continued on all the way to the Towers at the top.

There were a lot of canine tracks -- some of which I took to be coyotes -- where the Tower Rd. forks at the top of Dan's Trail.

Approximately 2000 verts.

This is an excerpt from Vert Quest, which chronicles The Man Known As Mongo's pursuit of the World Record for climbing on a mountain bike, 404,000 vertical feet, or the vertical equivalent of 13 sea-level-to-summit ascents of Mt. Everest during a 12 month period.
