Bruce blurin' through the woods off the Frost Rd Spur.
Rode Vedder Ridge and Sumas Mt on a gorgeous day. Mark Adriance and I climbed up the Frost Rd. Spur and then ripped down the Piano Drop, each of us playing a long high note with our brakes most of the way down.

Dr. Mark was on call, so I left him at his place and rode up to Bo's. My ostensible purpose was to return his hardware catalogs for the drawer pulls to go on the new music cabinet Bo is building for us, but I also hoped he might be willing to ride. He was, so we climbed up the end of the road where DNR took the bridge out.

Approximately 2700 verts.

Vert Quest chronicles "The Man Known As Mongo's" pursuit of the World Record for climbing on a mountain bike -- 404,000 vertical feet, or the vertical equivalent of 13 sea-level-to-summit ascents of Mt. Everest during a 12 month period. Mongo's mountain bike climbing tricks are distilled in Mongo's Over-the-top Guide to Climbing.
