Thirteen year old Alex ripping down the Frost Rd. spur on his new bike, a Specialized S-Works hardtail.
Rode Vedder Ridge with Mark and Alex Adriance after Mark got off work. After a quick
tour of the increasingly interesting single track loop that Mark and Alex have built on
their place, we climbed to the top of the Piano Drop, which we dropped post haste.
Alex rode it all on his new bike (a Specialized S-Works hardtail he got used from Mark Belles), despite the 11 stitches he got in his arm four days before (when Mark and I had to delay our Red Mt ride by an hour so that Mark could stitch his boy back together again). Alex didn't even complain, and he was the only one to ride a plankway in the woods behind the Adriance's house.
Meanwhile, I am still icing my knee at least once a day. It's getting slowly better, but the soft tissue above the knee is still sore to the touch. It's not too much of a problem if I wear shorts.
Approximately 900 verts.
