Lt. James Sturgis
Lt. James Sturgis's clothes were found in the debris of the huge Sioux and Cheyenne village after the Battle of the Little Bighorn, but his body was never found. Sturgis was a recent West Point graduate and the son of Gen. Samuel Sturgis.
